- Includes Bibliographical references and index - BK-002 Kalashnikov: The Inside Story of the Designer and His Weapons.  This is an amazing biography of Kalashnikov and his rifle(s), written by his daughter.  It contains significant auto-biographical writing as well. The book is organized chronologically and includes notes about Kalashnikov's military service, combat injury, and subsequent involvement in the design and production of the AK-47 and other weapons systems.  The book has several hundred full-color photographs of weapons and other artifacts; many images are collages of various items.  Numerous contemporaneous designers are pictured. The production of the volume is superb. A joy to read; informative; and told from a distinctly non-American perspective.
